Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility:
- Existing patients of Orrell Opticians can refer new patients or existing patients that have not been to see us for products or services in the last 5 years.
- The referred patient must spend >£300 on their eyewear. (Complete jobs only, no reglazes).
- There are no limits to the number of referrals a referrer can send us
2. Referral Process:
- Referrers recommend Orrell Opticians to friends and family who might be interested in a glasses update.
- Referrers could talk about their positive experience here, eye test thoroughness, friendly staff and high quality products.
- Most people like to call us to book, our number is 0151 355 1077
- Alternatively, they can book online at www.orrellopticians.co.uk
- When referrals book in, they advise us 'I have been referred by (insert referrers name)'. The referrals file is marked with the referrers name.
- There is never any obligation or pressure to buy when you recommend anyone to Orrell Opticians.
- We report monthly on referring patients, and reconcile these at the end of each month for payment.
- Referrers will receive a phone call / SMS to let them know how many referrals, who met the spending threshold, were successful that month.
- Referrers then receive their gift cards, once the referral has collected their glasses and paid in full for their purchase.
- Referrers will typically receive their gift cards 2-4 weeks from when the referred patient ordered their glasses.
3. Rewards:
- Referer Rewards: For each eligible referral, who meets the spending threshold of >£300, the referrer will receive a £25 gift card for life:style www.lifestylegiftcards.co.uk - these can be used at over 180 brands across retail, leisure and online.
- Referral Rewards: When the referred patient spends over £300 on their eyewear (frames & lenses), they will receive a discount of £50 off their purchase. Professional services e.g. eye tests are not covered by this offer.
4. Qualifying Criteria:
- This applies to new patients or existing patients that have not been to see us for anything in the last 5 years.
- Referred patients must spend over £300 (on complete glasses) before the promotion can be applied.
- Both frames & lenses must be purchased, i.e. complete glasses.
- This offer doesn't apply to reglazes.
- A referrer can only refer a patient once. This means referrers can't refer the same patient more than once.
5. Reward Distribution:
- We report monthly on the referring patients at the end of each month
- Referrers will receive a phone call / SMS to let them know how many referrals, who met the spending threshold, were made that month.
- Referrers then receive their rewards via email / SMS / in person pickup.
6. Protective Measures:
- There is never any obligation or pressure to buy when you recommend anyone to Orrell Opticians.

Each referred patient can only have one referrer. It is the referred patient's choice as to who should receive the referral reward in any areas of confusion. In our own view, it is the referrer who had the biggest influence over the referred patients decision to book in with us.
- Self referrals do not count
- Dishonest referrals will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification from the program.
7. Program Duration:
- This program starts on 1st Novemer 2023 and is ongoing.
8. Modification and Termination:
- Orrell Opticians reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this program at our discretion and without prior notice.
9. Privacy:
- Your personal information will be processed in accordance with the relevant data protection laws and our privacy policy in the UK.

13. Compliance with UKLaws:
- Referrers are responsible for tax obligations related to the receipt of rewards.

- This Refer a Friend program is intended for genuine referrals and not for spamming or unsolicited marketing.
