What should I do if I experience sudden vision changes?

If you experience any sudden changes in your vision, such as blurred vision, distorted vision, seeing floaters, or flashes of light, call us immediately. You will need an emergency examination called CUES.

What should I do if I experience red / sore / dry / itchy eyes?

If you experience any discharge, red eyes, puffy eyes, sore eyes, dry eyes call us to discuss your symptoms. You will may require an examination sooner, which is called CUES.

What can I expect during the eye exam?

A typical eye exam will involve a discussion of your medical history, vision tests, an internal eye exam, and a discussion of your results. Your optician will explain each step of the process beforehand.

How long does an eye exam typically take?

At Orrell Opticians, we dedicate a full 30-40 minutes to your eye exam, depending on your examination type and extra scans required.
