I stumbled upon Orrell’s site after a stressful trip to A&E where I was led to believe I could possibly have one of numerous life changing conditions. I was left not knowing where to turn, feeling extremely anxious about the future of my health and eyesight.
I phoned Orrells on the off chance that I could get an emergency appointment to get checked over as I was impressed by how professional the site looked along with the range of services on offer.
The ladies couldn’t have been more helpful, they instantly put my mind at ease, offering me an emergency appointment &giving me amazingly helpful advice.
Louise was waiting at the door for my arrival and took me straight into the back to have some scans using some very fancy looking machines!
I was then referred to Ellis who took me through the results and told me that I had absolutely nothing to worry about regarding what I was told during my trip to A&E. She didn’t simply tell me that everything was fine, but went into detail googling pictures & pulling up YouTube videos to show me how things would look if there was an issue - showing me the comparisons to my scans.
She went in depth telling me the signs to lookout for in the future and even showed my partner some useful tips to check my eyes in case I ever found myself in a similar situation again.
I honestly wish there there were more stars to give all the staff at Orrell Opticians. They were absolutely faultless in their approach throughout my visit & I genuinely don’t think I have ever met a team of medical professionals who are so passionate about their work & so compassionate with their clients."
